Saturday Snippets! 17/09/11



Here are my Saturday Snippets from a few of the books I am currently reading!

Then Peter stands up and Rowan sees him notice something in the mirror. He licks his thumb and wipes the remaining blood from his cheek, and smiles awkardly. "Anyway, we'll talk more tomorrow. We've got to try to be strong. For Clara. We don't want to look suspicious."

It's hard to believe now, but this was a pretty radical decision at the time. Though popular in major cities on the coasts, going pro was still kind of a down-market thing do do in the suburbs, and at my school in particular.
